We are a 127 year-old general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual). As the first agency ever opened by MassMutual in New York State — with roots in Albany since our inception — we enjoy a rich history within our community. We serve close to 21,000 individuals, families and businesses through our network of financial services professionals.
We cover a large territory today, with financial services professionals as far south as Rockland County, New York to as far north as Burlington, Vermont. Our goal is simple: to serve our clients, our associates and our community.
We strive to improve the lives of those we touch, through genuine relationship building, by gaining a complete understanding of our clients’ goals, and by providing our clients with the resources to make educated decisions.
Focus On Community
In its long tradition of providing innovative products and services, MassMutual Albany is focusing its resources and expertise to help a population it sees as being underserved— by offering SpecialCareSM. The SpecialCare program helps families with special needs children with life care planning and other financial needs.
The Agency has also brought MassMutual’s LifeBridgeSM Free Life Insurance Program to Albany**. Benefits payable by policies issued through the LifeBridge program provide an educational safety net if qualified parents or legal guardians die before their eligible children complete their education. MassMutual pays the
premiums for these policies. As of December 31st, 2011, MassMutual has distributed $5,600,000 over the course of LIfebridge’s existence.
